Nepal Jungle Trip

13 Days | Nepal Discovery

Whatever you are looking for in a trip, Nepal has an answer for you. Wild nature (Himalayas, wild rivers, jungles…), some very old culture and traditions, the nicest people in the world, some extreme activities (trekking, white water sports, jungle safaris…) and thousands of small details which will change a trip into an unforgettable experience bringing you a new insight on yourself.

Nepal is mostly famous for its trekking opportunities but, even though we will not miss a little detour to give a look to the mountains, we propose you to discover another very authentic and and wild side of this incredible country. Nepal is a steep country starting in the south by the Terai plain (169m) and rising until the highest mountain in the world in the North (8848m).

Bardia National park is located in the plain where a very rich ecosystem still exists. There, you can find, Asiatic elephants, one horned rhinoceroses, many deer species, 450 species of birds, monkeys (macacas and Langurs), crocodiles, otters, tortoises, the rare Ganga dolphin, leopards, and the famous Royal Bengal tiger.

Visitors can visit this national park by different means: in a jeep, in a inflatable canoe and… on foot. Walking safaris are most interesting because they offer the best opportunities to see animals in their environment. It is not as dangerous as you may think, wild animals are led by instincts and, by nature they will try to escape human. People are not an option on their menu. You may read or hear many things in the Medias that are wrong or exaggerated, transformed or taken out of context. In Bardia National park, you are taken in charge by local wildlife professionals with diplomas who know the jungle, the plants and the animals, their territories and habits. Since 15 years the park is visited by an average of 4000 visitors every year and no tourist have ever been in danger.
