Annapurna Family Trek is a unique experience in itself, which offers a rare opportunity to observe the indigenous lifestyle of Himalayan tribes, and some wonderful close up views of both the sacred mountain Macchapuchre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South.   During the trek, mesmerizing panoramic sites of legendary mountains, the beautiful and ornate village of Ghandruk, and home to the Annapurna Conservation Area Project. Here you have a chance to visit the project to discover at first hand the conservation work being carried out and mostly their honest hospitality. 

AT KATHMANDU:

A While in Kathmandu you will have an opportunity to discover spiritual temples and shrines of historical and archaeological interest. On this tour you will gain an insight into the rich culture and tradition of Nepal.

AT POKHARA:    

This trip is not about the mountain but we make the little detour through Pokhara and it offers a wonderful opportunity to witness the beauty of the Annapurna chain of Himalaya. Free afternoon to discover the Bazaar or the surroundings of the Fewa Lake. 

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal! It is a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long time. A representative and driver from our office will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The representative will help you check into your designated hotel.  

Day 02: Sightseeing tour at Kathmandu

Kathmandu is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The city presents a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence in the Valley. Patan and Bhaktapur, its two major neighboring cities bear immense historical, cultural and religious significances. There will be a guided tour to the famous and biggest Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal Boudhanath, the Monkey Temple or Swoyambhunath.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m); 6- 7 hours driving

After Breakfast at the hotel then we will drive to Pokhara.  It is a remarkable place of natural beauty. At an elevation lower than that of Kathmandu, it has much more tropical feel to it; a fact well appreciated by the beautiful diverse flowers that prosper in this environment. The enchanting city has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of the lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic.

The valleys surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forest, gushing rivers, emerald lakes and of course, the views of world famous Himalayas. The city is also known as the center of adventure. We have a free afternoon to discover the Bazaar or the surroundings of the lake.  

Day 04: Pokhara to Ghandruk via Nayapul, (1950m); 4-5 hours

Ghandruck is one of the best places from where you can have best view of the Annapurna, Hiunchuli and Fishtial very close by. In your trekking you sleep and eat mountain lodges called ‘Tea House’ and your luggage is carried by porter. 

After breakfast we can start our journey to ghandruk, it takes one and half hour drive from Pokhara   to the starting point of our trek i.e. Nayapul. After crossing the Nayapul over the Modi Khola River, we ascend slowly through terraced fields and classic mountain villages.  Along the way, we will encounter mule or goat carrying supplies to the mountains, signal by the musical bells they wear. The amazing peaks of Machhapuchchhre and Annapurna peaking over the green elevation will greet us from time to time as we continue up to Ghandruk.

Day 05: Ghandruk to Jhinudanda  (1780m) 6-7 hours

Next day begins with a real first local drink. We have a steep ascent & decent to get us going and then a more gradual uphill walk takes us to our camp at Jhinudanda. We will pass through the beautiful, dense rhododendron forest and some delightful villages. If the weather is clear, then, we will see amazing mountain views from Jhinudanda. Today we will have an opportunity to enjoy the hot springs which is just a 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda to soothe our aching body. Overnight at Jhinu Danda.

Day 06: Jhinudanda to Landruk (1650m) 3-4 hours

After breakfast we head out for Landruk. We continue to descend to Jhinu Danda village through a sparse forest and kimru river bank. After crossing Kimru River bridge Trek along the village passing alongside rice terraces, then through forests, and gradually ascend to Landruk . Overnight at landruk.

Day 07: Landruk to Dhampus, (1750m); 5-6 hours

Early morning we can enjoy the view of Sunrise, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Machhapurchre & the countryside. After breakfast we leave Landruk almost flat trails about an hour then little steep for 45 minutes to reach Tolka. After Tolka trail follows through forest then starts again steep ascends about one & half hour to get Deurali (2100m), from where you can see valley of Pokhara. There tea shops are available between Tolka and Deurali. After Deurali trails leads you gradually descend to Dhampus via Pothana. Overnight Dhampus. 

Day 08: Dhampus to pokhara (910m) 3 hours

This morning will be one of the great morning with views of Annapurnas Himalayas & scenic settlement villages, walk down to Dhampus Phedi (approximately two hrs.) and then drive to Pokhara (about 45 minutes}. Overnight at pokhara.

Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu (1350m) 6-7 hours

After Breakfast at the hotel then we will drive back to Kathmandu. Upon reach Kathmandu drops at the hotel. We have dinner together. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 10: Free Day in Kathmandu

We ensure that that you will leave Kathmandu with cherishing memory and an experience of a lifetime. Our representative will drive you to the airport in time for your flight back home. Journey well!

According to your departure time, you may have time for some shopping. Our representative will drive you to the airport in time for your flight back home. Journey well !
